Mindy Stephenson is a person that if you met her once, you will remember her forever. A devoted friend, sister, and daughter, hard worker, phenomenal aunt, loving wife and the best mother to her 12 year old daughter . Her personality lights up every room she enters and anyone that knows her understands what I mean. She is a selfless, compassionate, kind and loving human that causes people to gravitate to her simply by being her.

In February 2024, Mindy started feeling very sick and was coughing/gasping for air in the middle of the night. As far as medical history, Mindy has dealt with chronic asthma the majority of her life. So when she started feeling sick she originally chalked it up to allergies and asthma due to similar reactions. But the amount of pressure in her chest was unbearable and she started feeling like this wasn’t just a normal asthma or allergy issue. She went to the urgent care facility in Acworth, GA; where the doctors ordered an X-ray of her chest. After reviewing the X-rays, Mindy was referred to the STAT Clinic at Kennestone Hospital in Kennesaw, Ga where she would undergo a series of tests. She was then referred to Northside Hospital in Atlanta and was immediately admitted for further tests. After 8 weeks of tests Mindy was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma on her 45th birthday. This type of cancer is aggressive and has been fast-spreading through several major organs in Mindy’s body. Mindy was able to start treatment immediately after she was given her diagnosis, and she has completed 2 full rounds of chemotherapy and will continue treatments thru the end of this year. Her body is responding to the chemotherapy and the scans are showing drastic improvements. Mindy’s cancer is in remission & has reduced in size significantly.

The financial burdens associated with this journey are adding up quickly so from the bottom of our hearts we would appreciate any prayers and financial support you could offer. Thank you in advance from family and friends of Mindy
